Lanlok was formed in the summer of 2020 by multi-instrumentalist Lachlan Keller who grew up in the Southern California metal scene, having played gigs alongside members of Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, and Black Label Society. His influences are far heavier, however, coming from the likes of Slayer, In Flames, and Suicidal Tendencies. With his debut album, American Blight, he’s endeavored to combine the best of traditional heavy, thrash, and melodic death metal.
